Anyone into Porsche 911's or got a 996?

Mrs RRUK has long wanted a Porsche 911. She used to want a cabriolet but has now come round to the following spec:

996 C4S Coupe Tiptronic

She has to have heated seats, sat nav, xenons etc . (plus other stuff)

Just wondered if anyone has kept an eye on prices 2nd hand and if this is a good or bad time to buy?

Here's one that looks like the type of thing....nice.

hi RRUK i had one as a company car for a while , it was the turbo version with the race exhaust that you could switch from quiet to noisy from the dashboard very nice it was but i always felt a bit of a siscy driving it so changed it for the FFRR the one in your pick i think is the wide body version but could be wrong

prices are very tempting but just makesure theres a full P/S/H and pref orig owner Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

Mrs JMC wanted one of these as well, but after much thought she decided on an Audi RS4 (Avant) instead.

Practicality was the main driving force as two dogs don't mix well with a 911. On the plus side, the RS4 was faster, also has the button to make it go and sound better and it can be parked in Tescos without some ned taking his keys along the side of it.

A friend bought a 911 at the same time and it is in for its second bout of paintwork due to the above Twisted Evil The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
