Has anyone fitted a 13 pin tow plug to their FF?

It looks like the 12N maps exactly to the same numbers of the 13 pin, only when you get to the 12N do things start to get a bit iffy!

That’s the same wiring diagram I’ve been working to except for pins 9 to 13 are different colours to what’s in my loom |

The only thing I'd be worried about is the gauge of the wires you have from your loom -- a lot of the wires you're dealing with from now on in should be a thicker gauge! Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I’ve only got the one green wire and I’ve fitted that to pin 4 on the 13 pin plug as per the diagram above. |

for the tin tent there is nothing which needs a perm feed from the car afaik. Fridge and charger will be 12v switched. so if that is all you have....... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

4 is all that is required, beyond the pink already done -- but that's me assuming they map colour for colour -- which I'm not sure they do -- I was working pin to pin if you see what I mean!

It’s a two year old Swift with the LED tail lights. Not all cars work with them and mine is one of them. The LED indicators flash rapidly and in answer to this, Swift retrofit a module to the caravan. However there are several different types of module depending on what kind of car you have. They couldn’t test my FF as there was no live present which I’m told is pin 9 (orange).

Makes sense. I’ll test them and see. I seem to recall on a previous project, the yellow and brown being permanent live. |
