UK spec TDV8s have the pre-heater. If you don't have the fob then a previous owner has made off with it. Graham

Thanks. So can I work it without the fob? Or is this something I need to buy and have coded? "ducks for cost" |

AFAIK you can set it through the touchscreen to come on and off at preset times ... |

Correct for the cabin heater; you also have a "manual" mode (ie "heat now").

That is what I miss. Opening the door a crack, pressing the fob and coming out 20 minutes later to a warm car ready to go. Do you know how much a replacement fob is and whether it needs to be coded? |

Does need to be linked to the car but there may be a user way of doing it, don't know. Dan at Duckworth (site sponsor) can supply the fob. Graham

If you buy a remote Fob , i am sure your local Stealer will activate it , although it might be at a small charge |

I am now Range Rover less. The entire car broke down on Friday night. This coupled with a few other problems made me reject it. Saxtons originally did not want to know (I only had the car for 5 days) but I persisted and they caved, shocking service from them. |
