I was at my brothers work today and down the road was a Land Rover service building that only does exports so I was told.

Well they had lined up...

Silver one.
Black one
Grey one

All 2010 may I add...

All tinted up Thumbs Up

Having a quick chat with my brother and we both agreed the grey with the tints was the best looking IOHO.

I have sent Jez an e-mail at lookers to change the colour again. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Should of stuck with my first choice in the beginning...

I will update the wanted section.

My other half states it just like when we go out for dinner, I pick immediately what I want to eat, then spend half an hour changing it... then opting for my first choice.

I think I am going to forget the 2010 facelift for the time being and use that money to get the right car.

If I do want the 2010 conversion, I can save up and get it next year.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Bow down

It was also at LPR but I see they have a 2008MY TDv8 on their website at the moment in Stornoway, not sure if it has tints though

I would love that Tim. It's a beautiful car. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up I am very envious. Mr. Green Smile

I did want ivory leather, but don't think it would be a good idea as I wear jeans most of the time and next year I will have 2 under two year old's in the back. Black interior will be the way to go for me.

I have had a look already and none about with the spec I want. There's a suprise.

Cheers Mick...Not SE and the tints aren't factory... Nearly. Laughing Thumbs Up

It's just a pet hate I have about tints. I don't like seeing the heater elements.

Has anyone had a problem with that?
I've had Parchment for two years and worn blue/black jeans nearly all of the 38,000 miles I've had it. No marks at all.
Surely the advantage of leather with kids is it can be cleaned easily...

Hope I got the right choice, I went for Stornoway grey with Ivory interior. Thumbs Up

Hang on... 08 TDV8, Grey, Ivory, SE, Factory tints... I think I bought your car iT LAD. Whistle

It's OK Fox, when it comes to time for you to move it on iT will still be looking for his dream car....................

Regarding the Ivory/ Parchment hide - after a week of family travelling in mine the only seat with any marks on it is the driver's seat................................ blue jeans haven't been a problem, shavings of chocolate bar dropped by a passenger who munched one in the car and dropped bits everywhere cleaned up easily with a leather cleaner "wet one" pad, mud on jackets after walking has wiped off if still wet and come off with the vacuum cleaner once dry. The problem has been getting all the fine grains of white sand out of the black carpets - even my Dyson seems unable to get them all out! I have a full set of LR water-proofed seat covers................................ but left them at home in the garage by accident, they remain unopened Rolling with laughter 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
