Cheap tv/dvd upgrade?

When it comes to in car electronics i have a habit of killing things altogether so i thought i would ask for a "how to do" list and get a rough idea of the costs involved
details of my car- 2004 Vogue 4.4 with (non touchscreen satnav/tv) with 2x veba headrest screens and glovebox mounted dvd player(which work fine apart from one set of dead headphones Rolling Eyes )

I would like to know if it is possible to get the the DVD player to play through the front screen as well as the rears with sound through the car speakers and at the same time also upgrade the front TV to receive digital without spending a fortune, seeing as the analogue no longer works

Sorry if this question has been asked before but i would like to get a definitive answer and possibly a rough price for doing this??
thanks in advance

You may want to ask CUE as he was in need of something similar recently,

Something like

Hybrid TV module @ £3-400

Wiring loom required to connect up DVD player to front screen and car speakers @ £30

Plus you will need to run some wiring from front of car to back of car to connect everything up.

Also, check out the early part of my thread on this subject:

I had no idea something like this existed

Wiring loom required to connect up DVD player to front screen and car speakers @ £30

Looks like another weekend project but no idea what to connect to it (I probably do not have enough DVDs).

Hmmm, thanks guys. think i may try the lead to run DVD through front screen and leave the digital tv for now. Hopefully should be a fairly straight forward fit even for an electrical nightmare like me Thumbs Up
cheers

How did you get on Paul?

I should have my whole setup inc this part within about 10 days, just waiting on the headrests getting trimmed. Smile

I will do a large write anyway. all smug in my new plug!
