The depreciation of the newer oil burner is 10 times the extra cost of the Supercharged fuel.... Whistle

I am interested in how much MPG you guys with the Supercharged 4.2 on LPG gets? one biffer on ebay was claiming 40MPG?!!

My 4.4 petrol LPG gets 28 combined (equivalent), that's measured by tank to tank cost and using the cost of petrol in comparison, not diesel. (that only makes 1 or 2 MPG difference anyway)

40MPG, even at LPG-petrol equivalent he would need to be buying his LPG at about 50p/l which aint easy to do these days unless you buy in bulk...

When I had the SC on a good day I could get 15 mpg maybe 16 at a push but most days it was about 13 mpg after about a week of checking and playing about with the touchscreen settings I got bored with it , i just filled it up and to Censored with MPG. ... Thumbs Up

My 4.2 delivered about 19mpg according to the trip computer. 4.4 TDV8 is giving 23mpg so far (though I'm yet to do any long journeys in it and have had heated everything on for those journeys
