Has anyone had their amp upgraded ? I think its a BM54 unit, and apparently has 20w per channel.

There are companies on the bay of e that fix channel/sound isues, and also upgrade the amp for better sound and 40w per channel.

Is it a worthwhile mod do we know ?

I am thinking about the sound quality upgrade, rather than an upgrade for an aux socked etc.........

You'd probably need to upgrade all the speakers at the same time as they are probably matched (powerwise) to the expected output of the amp - if you want twice the power you'll need twice the speakers!

Thats sort of what I was thinking.

I'm a bit into my hi-fi, and have LINN kit in the house.

Trying not to "overthink" the car.............
