57 Plate Spec List?

Hi guys,

Still searching for a RR, I am close to getting one now & I have been contacted by a dealer that they have a 57 plate Vogue TDV8 coming in standard spec, he cant give me the list yet so I was hoping one of you more experienced owners could point me in the right direction as I want to make sure its as fully loaded as poss, things like bluetooth etc.

As I don't know what was standard or an option spec is on a RR.

Many thanks for any suggestions or help. Mutt

I think I have that car or should I say a similar car as I have no intention of parting with mine Very Happy

It has BT but i got mine u/graded through Wiggs.
Touch screen nav - later versions of the DVD are available
Aux socket in back for connecting iPod
No rear seat entertainment unless SE
As standard all seats are heated but not cooled
Mine has a towbar but I'm not sure if that was standard
Fuel burning heater and heated steering wheel - great on these cold mornings
Updated interior
19" wheels are standard

Any specific Q's just ask. Geoff

2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

is it a 2008 57 or 2007 57?
I think 2008 did not come with venture cam.
Depending on who order it it could come with a few extras, mine is a 07 Vogue and mine has air heating seats which normally only comes on the SE model.
cheers

Mine is a 57 plate MY08 model.

Comes with bluetooth etc (unlike Geoff mine seems to work fine out of the box and didn't need upgrading although this may have been done by the previous owner), full leather, heated seats, digital TV in the front, sunroof etc etc.

Doesn't have VentureCam or RSE as standard (I have alpine units installed by previous owner with RF headphones, DVD plater and iPod inputs), having looked at a Vogue SE which was also MY08 the only things you get extra as standard seemed to be heated and cooled seats, semi-aniline leather and that's it. RSE was an optional extra on the VSE, but may have been standard on the Supercharged.

I didn't think the cooled seats were worth the extra money when I bought mine Thumbs Up

Hi Guys,,

Thanks for the replies, the dealer is not sure whether its an 07 or 08 model, I should find out later today, he is currently finalising a deal with the current owner, as soon as this is done I should get the info etc.

Simon I was originally looking for an VSE with RSE but the all seemed to be high mileage or to expensive & I only wanted the TDV8, your alpine units was this upgrade expensive & are they installed in the back of the headrests as I was going to look at getting this done as we spend a lot of time in the Alps through winter & summer & with kids its a life saver Razz I have the cheap screen in another car which straps to the headrests but I wanted to get rid of the wires & cables as its a mess.

Cheers guys

Mutley,

Here are some pictures of my alpine screens

They were installed by the previous owner so I cannot comment on the cost. I have a Veba dvd player in the AV compartment of the boot with an IR remote receiver just above the rear view mirror. Also have an iPod AV cable I ran from the boot which comes up under the passenger seat so can have 2 inputs simultaneously. I had issues with the IR headphones so the dealership installed some dual channel RF headphones. Now each child can watch a different input or the same - brilliant on long journeys Thumbs Up

I think there are 7 inch vega screens and dvd player combo's out there with dual channel IR headphones for less than £300 I believe. Installation should only take a couple of hours as these cars have plenty of space to work in and the trim comes apart relatively easily. When I got mine the guys had to replace the cables which took the signal from the control box to the screens and it took them no longer than 45 minutes - I am sure it takes longer on a 'fresh install'.

Your other option is a couple of iPads with headrest mounts and some bluetooth headphones Thumbs Up

Hi KP, no the owner has a big company & used a land rover Disco Commercial as his daily drive, the FFRR was his weekend car, the mileage is genuine the only thing I dont like is the 19 inch wheels as I think they are plain & look boring & dont do the RR any favours compared to the 20 inc vogue se alloys or the autobiography ones, I dont really want any big than 20 inch.

I think we are going to have it though Bow down with that mileage it would be stupid not to Twisted Evil Mutt

looks a lovely RR, not wanting to sound negative though but it must have been driven hard, or the wheels have been swopped for smaller 19" ones off another vehicles.

I have ditched previous sets of tyres at 4mm on 25k miles - both Pirelli Scorpions and Good Year Wranglers

Vogue, I don't know what you mean the dealer thinks they are the original tyres on those wheels, I understood that a lot of RRV were supplied with 19 inch alloys as the others were a optional extra.

If I am wrong let me know as I will ask the dealer to clarify, any idea if I can get some better oem wheels with tyres on 20's would be good, but I don't really want to spend loads more as the cost on eBay seems a lot Mutt

I think Vogue's point was that the car must have been driven hard (thrashed) to wear the tyres down that quickly!
