Bluetooth with iPhone: Did you know...

The other day I recorded a voice note on the iPhone while I was in the car.

I then wanted to play it back, which it did via the bluetooth connection to the car, which I thought was quite nifty. Discovery 4 HSE

You can also decide what contacts to synch to the car via bluetooth.

I have my contacts organised into various overlapping groups (family, mates, colleagues, business, etc.) with a few hundred contacts. You can do this in the address book program on a Mac or in a browser using icloud or mobileme. If you look at the bluetooth settings in the phone, it asks you which groups you want to synch for each connection. So I created a "bluetooth synch" group of the 50 numbers I'm likely to need in the car and it only puts those onto the bluetooth. Makes finding the relevant contact easier.
