Bloody Cars!

Its not just cars like the Range Rover that are technical, our humble little Vauxhall Corsa, which does not have much in the way of electronics (or so I thought) has lost its indicators on the drivers side.

Checked the fuse, changed the relay, still not working.

Now been informed its the Body Control Module, and you cant just get a second hand one, it has to be programmed to the car!

Now I can kind of understand this on higher end cars which have electric everything, but why are cars in general getting so technical!

And why does it have to play up when my Rangie is already waiting to go in the garage on Monday!!! Reformed

I sympathise Reformed, all my cars were at it in November and December - FFRR off the road with hole in air spring, Audi in garage for crash repair, daughters car with a monocoque more like a sieve than a floorpan and failed MOT, but the trusty old MX5 kept on running through. All better now though Smile .
