My 05 is sitting low in the rear. Why?

About a month ago i had the "Air suspension" warning on.
(As i have mentioned on here before).
Took it to the shop. The guy were not sure what caused the warning. He did also say that it was leaning a bit to the right (or if it was the left). Nothing that i have noticed. But it was 2 centimeters difference!
Anyway, he had his colleague lifting the lower side of the car, did something with his computer when it was level.
The air suspension warning was then gone.
But.
Iīm sure that the car is sitting around 2 centimeters lower in the rear now. (I believe that it sat lower in the rear already when i visited the shop).
I know this, because previously when i backed in to my my garage i had to lower the car because my roof box is hanging in the ceiling in the front in my garage. Now i donīt have to lower the car to get in to the garage.
The "raise and lower" the car function seems to work in order.
But again, in itīs normal position the rear is definitly lower, (and maybe also the front, not sure).
And i also believe that it is slightly lower on the right hand side.
I donīt have any warning in the dash.

What is this?

TIA
Peter

May be that the ride height needs setting up on the computer again. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Get yourself an IIDTool, see Threads on this forum, that's capable of sorting out and adjusting your suspension.

So I guess I've got to ask because I can't find it anywhere.

Whats is the correct normal height for my car.

I have found front 493 top of arch to wheel centre and rear 483 top of arch to wheel centre - is this correct Question Geoff

So with my new 20" wheels the easier measurement to take would be plus 10" to bottom of rim giving front 747 and rear 737 - aeroplane names - easier to remember.

Interestingly mine was sitting way too high, easily put right with IIDTool. I think the increase occurred during the reset I did when changing to the later tool.

Anybody know if a Battery Disconnect "RESET" would put the suspension back to factory height settings?

Yes but not to the factory level it sits way to low.

PS: Goes up to Off Road quickly and locks and drops to access fine.
