Cheapest 4.4 Vogue L322?

Looks ok for the mileage and age, and under £9k.

I reckon the milage is what's keeping it's price down low but I'd bet they would even haggle being a dealer as they must have bought it for a decent chunk less!

Still looks good though, the advantage of being a 1 owner car I bet Smile

nice car ....not sure about some of their claims?!

"A V8 range rover will do upto 30mpg on a run and average 20-22mpg for mixed driving if driven sensibly. This is little if any different to a deisel (sic)!"

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

I have to say over the last few cars ive I purchased I have actually never ever looked at the book value of a car, I find it a complete waste of time.

When it comes to purchasing a car, I always make sure I have researched the market a good few months in advance so that way you know when you have good a good deal. Also if there is a car you really like and search by using its credentials, e.g. millage, engine size, year and doing a filter on a website such as autotrader, if yours is among the cheapest etc in comparison you are getting it at a good or fair price (this is all in general of course, exceptions always apply)

When it comes to selling a car once again, I check market values and residuals, no point going to a dealer with a book value, they will just laugh at you, I have always found that I have been offered significantly less than trade value.

The key being its all about markets value. check book value of half the 5 series, RR's & Mercs out there, the market values are significantly above the "book dealer/private" values.

Those RR's above are great value for money if they have been looked after which they seem to have been however I agree with Kingpleb the millage is significantly keeping the price down as most people are scared of such a big car with over 100k.

oh and Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter to the up to 30 mpg and 21 combined. LOL right now I am getting COMSUP 1 = 17.2 and COMSUMP 2 = 16.8 which from what I have seen and heard is pretty good Laughing to anyone else thats shock horror but in the RR V8 4.4 world its not bad lol

If i had the cash i'd be tempted to buy that auto trader one( after getting some money knocked off of course!) then swap the wheels off it for standard ones of its age, and taking the towbar off it as well and then move it on for either no loss or a little profit Smile

They both seem decent for the price. Seems I was lucky to get the £10k for mine with 96k without the winter price hike. 2006 Mercedes CLS

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...
