Nothing to be alarmed at. Just a couple of points which are now obvious to me after 3 years in a D3. All I'd like to know is whether these are 'normal' or not.

Totally agree with you JMC on all 3 points its the same in mine. Concerning the auto relock the manual says this is a dealer enabled item, which sees daft to me. When i bought the car I asked for everything to be enabled which they normally don't do but looks like they missed this one.

Me too!
Loved it but couldn't go back to the Discovery. Mate turned-up here with a brand new 09MY in Stornoway and I had forgotten how 'van-like' it was from a drivers perspective. DSL also here arrived with my old D3 and although I still love the look of the motor, I couldn't go back to sitting there after the FFRR. I just want my feckin wipers and locks to do what I expect them to. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

THe D3 also had a place to tuck the rear load bay blind when you folded the seats flat. I still have not worked out a good place for the rear parcel shelf for the FFRR. Those side bins in the boot of the D3 were really useful too.

Its the basis for a RRS but without the bling and with a bigger boot. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

I've never quite sussed this bit out. Why can't they put it in the D3 when it goes in the RRS?
