Can anyone recommend a good Insurance broker?

My renewal came and Directline are having a laugh. £1300 with 7 years no claims and only 8000 social miles (as opposed to commuting or business). I know, I know, I should move out of London.

Can anyone recommend a good insurance broker?

Has anyone had any experience of esure? Paul

I know what you mean about Direct Line - Jokers. They wouldn't insure mine as it didn't have a tracker, but gave me a quote anyway without theft cover !

Seriously though, I'm now with Tesco. £200 cheaper this year ( Shocked ) than Aviva - also a bunch of jokers. It may have made a difference we have a Clubcard (?) - I don't know if anyone can comment on that ? Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Just use the comparison sites. The ones which aren't on the comparison sites are always way more expensive, the main reason they "Aren't on comparison websites" Wink

I do this every year and then send the cheapest quote to my present insurer. They always price match but if they didn't I would always go with the cheapest. I don't buy into the quality name/brand thing with insurance. They're all sharks anyway.

Cheers for the responses guys. I will check out Tesco.

@alanm_3 Thanks for the tip. I only have the one car. My wife doesn't drive.

Any of you had any experience of esure? Paul

Just insured mine with Esure.

Never used them before, but they gave me the best price.

Been with Swiftcover for 4 years. They wanted 650.

Esure, same excess, 408 Smile
