Tuning boxes are not the best way to increase power output from an engine. You should look at a proper remap instead.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Wot Martin said , tuning boxes are crude devises best results are from a proper re-map of the engine ECU. 2008 MY Supercharged

Personally I would go to Bell Auto Services - Pete has been doing this for a long time and has a very good reputation Thumbs Up

"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

With the extended warranty can you not just play ignorant and say it was like that when i bought it?

Im sure there are cars on the market that have been remapped but to the new owner a remap may not necssarily be apparent? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
Gone Audi A5 2.7TDI
Gone Discovery 3 HSE
Gone Mercedes CLK
Gone Range Rover 2.5 DSE

Hi 5imon,

Had the BAS remap on my RRS TDV8 for over 2 years via the BAS remap interface box (switchable box) and what an improvement it was - more useable power when needed and less hesitation (not that there was much in the first place) and she was so much more responcive etc.

Try here for a second hand BAS box (switchable box for warranty reasons etc) http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic72509.html

Keep looking on the D3/4 and RRS forums if this one has sold as they do come up from time to time Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

Dont forget, ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law and I do believe LR would be the law if this were to happen Big Cry and any warranty would be removed Rolling Eyes "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

How much will it cost to get the box remapped to my car?
