Having tested it a lot over the past few days it's much better and I reckon I can live with it now. At least the water sprays better across the screen. Discovery 4 HSE

RRUK mine also takes about 3 to 4 wipes before the water comes out which is a real pain if it is really dirty (mine never is though) I also agree the way the water sprays over the rear window is very affective. |

I don't know why but I much prefer the way the rear wiper is hidden in the top of the screen on the FFRR than the position on the RRS. Possibly because the swept area on the FF is much more sensible with the widest area being at the top of the screen. Have they cured the old problem that I always whinged to LR guys on show stands about with the pathetic interval on the rear wiper - in that respect the RRS is MUCH better than my old FFRR was. |

Tim, I'm not sure if this was altered in the time between yours and mine however, on mine, you flick the stalk back for the rear wiper and then immediately pull it forwards again....now, wait for as long as you want the interval to be then push the stalk back once more. That sets the interval.

I read somewhere earlier (on another board) that if you push and hold the rear wash wipe stalk, for the number of seconds you want between wipes then pull it back to set.

Hi all, im totally new here but have just picked up a 2002 TD6. Great car but have noticed that the rear wash wipe jet is not working....also the front headlight jet is not working either....the main jet works just fine for the windscreed and is very powerful...no sound at all....when i try to do the rear jet it makes a small motor sound which isnt constant and nothing comes out....im assuming this would jet water for the headlights too but nothing comes out....what do you reckons wrong? |

Could be anything from a blockage through to the pump or the actuator. If you've just picked it up, I'd take it back to where you got it and get them to fix it (presuming it came from a dealer of course). Halfway Down The Stairs,

thanks for replying. What confuses me is that for the front washers they spray fine and there is no sound but when i try the rear (which arent working) there is a motor sound....maybe its a blockage and its sucking at water that isnt there? ill get it looked at. |

Very likely... back to the dealer is really the place to go. Halfway Down The Stairs,
