Have these been fitted properly?

I hope you don't mind me asking guys but I had my side steps fitted last Tuesday, paid £120 for them to be fitted but something doesn't look right to me.

Despite ruining the looks of my beautiful car...

I also have some issues with the way they actually look...

In the above pic, the wheel arch lining appears to have been damaged and there are plastic tabs from the new mud flap on show.

In the above pic, the wheel arch lining appears to be damaged. The plastic tabs on the new mud flap is tucked in (shown below).

Also, the side steps appear to have a gap from the bodywork nearer to the rear but are a good fit near the front.

Anyone know how they should look?

When the steps are fitted , to attach the mud flaps they have to cut into the arch lining , if there is a gap at the rear of the steps the fitter has not pushed them in when he has had to tighten the bolts underneath the car …. ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Marvellous!! I take it your new ones are lovely and flush Mick?

Why do they need to cut into the wheel arch lining? I had mud flaps there before hand and there was no damage, so why would they need to cause damage to fit the side step ones?
