when you sorted the mirror did you maybe dislodge or bang the near side wing ..its got to be in that vicinity be it the bulb holder or the wiring to it.. |

Not that I remember? I did try to follow the cable from the indicator but it just seemed to go down then I couldn't follow it anymore.

sure its not the bulb holder or the wiring going to said holder.. |

Could just be a poor connection between the bulb contacts and the holder. Spray both with some non-drying contact cleanser |

Right after a good look round and testing the electric feed. I have found the problem to be the bulb housing.
