Wedding Gift Woes.

Guys,

Hoping someone may be able to help me out here... I'm trying to find a wedding gift for a friend (just a little something extra and above the whip-round we had in work), and as theyt're fond of smashing the odd bottle of vino de collapso out, I thought I'd go for a pair of entwining/intertwining/interlocking wine glasses.

I've seen some somewhere before, but can I f Censored k find them now! And t'internet is not my friend. Sad

Any help most welcome!

Thanks muchly in advance,

Dan

Rob, Mick, Ally,

Cheers for the swift reply fellas. I've hit the same stumbling block too... all I can seem to find are champagne flutes.

Is it just me - or does anyone else think that these glasses would be a relatively simple, and popular gift? Or maybe not!

Don't buy anything like that, they are so tacky. If they enjoy wine, get them a pair of quality glasses that hold half a bottle in each. We had so many different glasses when we got married 17 years ago, most have never ever been used. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Yes Mick, had a look at the link and searched wine glasses, but didn't see anything.

@Mikey: have thought long and hard about this one... they're certainly fond of wine, and I'm not looking for something tacky. I've got a good handle on my friend's tastes/fads etc - so - If I wouldn't drink out of it myself, then I wouldn't buy it.

Right, back to the search, cheers! Smile

We got an electric cooler/warmer for a wedding gift and initially thought it was pretty tacky, but it's amazing how many times we have actually used it over the years.. Certainly a good conversation point during dinner parties!!

The electric cooler/warmer actually sounds really great - that is something I would need! Really cool. The last wedding I attended was in July and I gave bride and groom a basket full of wines (mostly red because they preferred it over white wine) including a variety of wine gifts delivered from an online shop, because they are not available in the average grocery store one has nearby his / her flat. Made it a little bit more special. The cooler would actually fit perfectly to that gift! Very Happy

whilst on the subject of wine and gifts, i'm in search of an oversized or very large wine glass, not these tacky ones that you get around xmas time though,

Although doesn't have to be a wine glass i have seen a large candle holder that would be good You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts
