whats wrong with these ulf modules

HI All,

Have the chance to get either of these models but not sure if they will be any good. It's going in a 54 plate Vogue but want to know what they won't do vs a 13th Gen.

84 10 6 969 268 end of life 04/06 7th generation
84 21 6 958 358 end of life 05/06 8th generation

Thanks
Ash Ash

i was told the newer they are, the more phones they would work with... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Thanks Guys - the seller has told me he just paired one of them with his iPhone4 and got the phonebook displayed.

Was just wondering if the newer ones did any more or do you think the earlier ones would be fine. The 13th gen ones seem to be over £400 from the US but the 6th Gen is £100..

Do you reckon it will be ok? Ash

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

In my old 2003 Vogue I had a 6th generation which worked perfectly well on all the phones I had and with some of the Nokias it even had sms function Cool

Then I bought an iPhone 3GS and lost caller ID - when a call came in it just displayed "telephone" - The same thing when I upgraded to an iPhone 4 so I took the plunge and found myself a 13th generation model - This solves that issue and basically is the only major benefit I could find Embarassed

If you dont have an iPhone or are not bothered about caller ID then save yourself a wad of cash and get a Gen 6 or sligtly newer - Dont go any older though Thumbs Up

Hmmm. Thanks Ajay,

He has a 7th Gen and I do infact have a iPhone 4s. Am I bothered about caller ID - I suppose not for £300 difference in price of the units. This one is £100 and the cheapest 13th gen I've found is around £400!

I know I also need loom conversion, mic and arial so will probably get it and look out for an upgrade in the future.

Thanks for the info..!! Ash

I had but I really like the idea of it being all integrated, steering wheel controls and numbers on screen etc. I'm also not a great fan of extra "gadgets" stuck on the dash somewhere.

But thanks for the though Ash
