Daughters who:

a) can't reverse in the dark
b) don't realise that their car is wider because of the wing mirrors
c) think left is right when going backwards (or is it?)

Result: 1ft scratch on FFRR front wing Big Cry

I stayed calm honest - it's her driving test in three days time!

I won't say anything about the the "responsible adult" who was in the car with her at the time (I was busy on the phone so it wasn't me) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Empty trailers with the ramps up like this. It's so un-aerodynamic. What a stupid design.

^ When I worked in the haulage industry I was summoned into the bosses office and asked why my Scania only returned 4.1mpg compared to George's which could reach 8.4mpg.

My reply was 'count the number of jobs I get through every day compared to George' and I was told to leave the office Laughing Laughing

VirginActive health clubs and their membership policy has driven me nuts this week.

Such a shame. Tried to switch locations within my high membership band and it's a palava even to get through the door. Seriously thinking of cancelling my membership. They're lovely places, but they don't make it easy. Si. <This is my name.

1) People who write 'break' when they mean 'brake', as in 'my cars breaks failed'

2) People who write 'I should of' when they should say 'I should have', as in 'I should of been going slower when I applied the breaks in the car'

3) Hertz Customer Services for ripping me off last weekend for a) charging me full price for a free vehicle upgrade, and b) charging me £20 for 5 litres of diesel they say the car needed when it was brimmed on the return to Southampton Airport on Monday! - Dont drive an Audi A4 S-Line Diesel, they use 5 litres of Diesel every 25 miles!

@ Paul

No point getting ticked off at grammar, life's too short.

My brother who is 15 months younger than me and went to the same school can't spell to save himself. He was in the class year behind me but the school decided in their wisdom to change the way spelling was taught and he learned to spell words as they sounded, so to this day he struggles with the spelling of many common words...

My impatience with old people who drive very slowly. I should be more relaxed and considerate.

When I'm old I'm going to continue to drive like a teenager. Even though I'll have bad eyesight and not coordination.

Hate to sound like a preacher here David but... That was my father in his later years... Had dementia and was tested for his ability to drive regularly and was deemed safe!

I bet you wouldn't treat a traffic cop with the same impatience would you! Rolling Eyes Ner Ner

Hey, I was confessing I know it's bad. Anyway, it manifests itself by cursing as I drive, not being a tw@ and tailgating etc.

Same as my Mother she had dementia and was tested for her ability to drive regularly but we stopped her from doing much more as she couldn't remember where first gear was .... Whistle
