Is there occassions when the quote button is needed, for example when you you are replying to a specific person but there post has since been pushed up the thread by other posts. (hope that makes sense) FFRR TD6 HSE

Using the quote sensibly is absolutely no problem (otherwise I'd just take the chuffing button away!)

The intention is to make the forum more conversational, you don't repeat the entirety of what your mate's just said (and vice versa) when you're down the pub now, do you? Wink

I've no problem with it but there's a certain amount of irony in the fact that all of your posts have a dashed line beneath them and a massive load of whitespace below them!
