The simple answer is Yes! Anything is possible. Are we talking about converting a FFRR to LHD or some other vehicle?

Most cars are designed as LHD in the first place (probably LR's too!) due to the bulk of the world markets driving on the wrong side of the road. Laughing Some cars are not even made in RHD at all. Shocked

I remember when the original Audi quattro appeared in 1980 it was only available in LHD. There were UK companies (eg. GTi Engineering) offering to convert one to RHD for about £2k. That was a fair wedge at the time.

I am in the process of converting such a machine back to LHD myself and the only part I've had to buy is the scuttle plate with the holes in it for the wiper arms.

That said, paying someone to do the job would cost a heck of a lot these days as it's best done with a bare shell. Modern cars full of electronics will not be easy due to location of wiring looms etc.

Need more info on the vehicle in mind before suggesting any further. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

With such a modern car, my best advice would be to sell the one you have and buy a used one from Germany. Converting that car would be a huge job from a labour perspective. You might only need to buy one or two (expensive) parts, but on such a modern car we are talking scuttle plate, dashboard, electronics and potentially a number of wiring loom extensions. As said before, all these cars are designed from the ground-up as LHD first.

I have a more constructive idea........... sell the Merc and buy a LHD Audi RS4 Cabrio. Razz Whistle The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
