I'd probably go with the ipad too, however not sure if your'e aware....
there is a replacement Asus Transformer machine coming up very soon, runs the new Android version that is made for tablets...Ice cream sandwich, and has a quad core processor, 12 hours battery life, etc etc ..... Makes the current ipad look a bit dated...

Was sitting on my usual monday flight today and watched the guy in front of me pull out his laptop, then his iPad, then his blackberry and then his iPhone. Thought the whole point was to cut down on the number of gadgets required. Sod carrying all of that around...

I can do everything his bagfull can with just my laptop and my smartphone - note there's not "i" anywhere in my collection, so they actually work together and with everything else...
