I'm in the same position; has anyone solved the issue? I had been soldering boot light but then had to cut wire but before I did this I had the same issues with the la k of certain lights. Also when I turn off ignition the steering wheel doesn't raise but it can be electronically adjusted! I've checked relevant fuses but they are not controlled by one single fuse; have I done something serious?!? "YYS" G4 FFRR

In answer to this and to Stu's PM, trying very hard to dredge up in the back of my mind, I think what happened was that I hadn't had the car long at that time and an unrelated fault developed meaning that I took it back to the supplying dealer. Whilst it was there I asked them to sort the lights too. I'm pretty sure they did say that they had to plug it in and reset something (but that was 5.5 years ago!) and I don't think I ever got a definitive answer, just some working lights.
