United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Hi I have the deployable steps ! I have had to have a new motor on 1 side and now the motor on the other side as packed in ! It's 2007 tdv8 but in fairness they look the b@@@@cks when they operate and my wife 5ft 2 thinks they are far better then my old vogue with fixed steps on ! I am in the process of getting a new motor from dan when I email him details ! Plus as well they don't spoil the looks when they are up like fixed do ! Current tdv8 range vogue 07

I have also emailed this guy as I test drove a model with the deployable steps and would love a set on my car, just not at LR retail prices Whistle

I haven't heard anything back from him yet but I would guess that the wiring looms aren't included.

Does anyone know how much the looms are and if they are available separately to the steps (hint to Dan Very Happy )?

Simon

Just checked on the range rover accessories website and it seems the wiring loom for 07MY-09MY is about £110 and the ECU is another £122 (inc VAT).

If you are putting them onto a 10MY model then you need a specific ECU which I haven't bothered to check as my car is older than this.

EDIT: updated to remove erroneous statement regarding MY10 model ECU requirements Thumbs Up

retractable steps

Now, there is no harm in us owners trying to get the cheapest price for the parts, not every dealer is as helpful as the ones on here, but the end of the day dealer prices are still high, for a rangey that does tend to gobble it up at alarming rates at time!

if we all club'd together and bulk order what price for supply of the complete kit with wiring and ecu's would the dealers on here be able to supply for?

I would be in for a set as although it does look good with the sidebars they are no use for the 5' wife!! Current vehicles

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I have depolyables on mine and i think they are the b Censored They came on the car but like many i was a bit sceptable about them. The passenger side seemed a bit slow but the dealer gave then a good lube with something and all is good.

My two girls love it when i drop them off at school!!! They no longer like going in mums Grand scenic!!!

I have also mastered the roof console switch so when in and out of the car espcially when cleaing i can switch them off or lock them in the out position. Mind you dont think i would have paid the £2500 it they where not already in the car. It was owned by a premiership footballer and he had every option going, so i guess a weeks wages for him!!! Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack
