It could be 3-2, as it's just when slowing down for first junction of the day (rest of the day it's fine)

Mine does this too, it's also a 2005. So far as I'm aware it's a software fault, and can be fixed with a re-flash of the gearbox ecu which costs around £100 or so.

@phil, i had a recon box at 116k and now its 126k and i've noticed that the little lights on the console [by gear lever] sometimes dont light when in that gear especially the 'd' one.. ... - .- -.

If it were mine, I'd drain & refill every 20k miles (which will replace about half of the fluid) and replace the filter every 40k miles. I emphasize that this is just my personal opinion.
