If I can find a replacement at a reasonable price you are more than welcome to my old light subject to you making a fair donation to the site...I have just checked my lights and only 1 light/bulb is out so it my be fixable although such work/modifications would be beyong my capabilities. |

woolton, what has happened to your light, i thought the lastic smashed, i have several parts from smashed lights but not the plastic lens, its a shame you cant buy the plastic lens as its not that hard to change them, i take it yours are adaptive, even if you can get a bog standard one the lens can be swapped over, thanks for the offer on the light that will be great..i will change the lens for you but it will be a bit of posting and a few days nut still could work out cheaper then a new one..

Thanks for the offer Dave. I will try and post a picture tomorrow to show the damage but basically the plastic lens is smashed as is the grey lastic ? (small bulb holder only). It actually doesnt look too bad and the indicator/main beam lights work fine. I didnt even think the light could be fixed. |

yes carlos, i am, messing around with leds and the halo rings like the bmw, the trouble with the leds is you need the ones with lenses to magnify the light other wise you are going to look like the boy racer on the corner.should have my tri-xenons monday with any luck V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Right new part has arrived today. Was thinking about doing the work myself (am thinking it will be simple case of swaping the light fittings over) but cant find any instructions for doing this. I thought there would be loads of info on this on the basis of the number of conversions which have been carried out on pre 2005 RR but cant find anything using the search function or on the internet (there is plenty of info on chaging the rear lights!). Am i doing something wrong? Does anyone have any idea where I can find a decent set of instructions for doing this?
