@ Paul D

Was planning to leave it a week before moving MobileMe to iCloud as I think this will give them enough time to sort out any 'teething issues'. Sorry to hear that your email is having problems. MobileMe seems to be very slow today in pushing to my iPhone. The iPad on the other hand is not having any issues Evil or Very Mad

I suppose that they are all part of the same server farm now so the slow down may be affecting all users...

Nice little trick I've found is while in a txt screen the keyboard can be hidden by sliding it to the bottom. Been a pet hate of mine for a while. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I tried 4 times last night to get it to work, thought I'd try one last time before going to bed, itunes shat itself and said that my phone couldn't be restored, with my phone totally wiped, I thought I was screwed, so plugged it back in, 1 1/2 later, IOS5 appears and everything is back and working.

I updated my iPad 2 last night and doing my wife's iPhone 4 at the moment. Both of them I have had to restore from backup to get apps and settings back. It's really hit and miss, some setting will come through like Mail but most don't.

Once you update, be sure to fire up the app store. I had 58 apps requiring updates.

Overall it's a good update. It brings a little polish to the OS. I like the notifications. It was one of things I missed from Android. Multi finger gesture is great - side to side to browse through apps, up to "multitask". My guess is that within the next 3-4 generations of iDevices, they will probably do away with the home button. Bugbears? I do wish that I didn't have to turn off iCloud backup app by app or turn on. Same with the notifications. If the app gets updated after the install, you have to go through each one and update it. Paul

A neat feature I've found is that when you rotate the calendar to landscape it transforms to week view.

Doesn't sound much but it's made calendar on the iPhone as good to use as it is on my iPad.
