4+6 look good but the ladder auction description just says it looks the part, not that it can perform like the part, especially without drilling which is a bit of a worry!!

Is this one getting a demountable winch that you can pop on and off the front or back to make for safer recoveries??

Hi James, He is selling it as Buckingham but I bet its Adriatic Blue! I will see when I take delivery on Monday. The coiler is sold having been "in stock" just a bit too long Wink (full asking)

I dont think they are too bad to be honest, usually they mount on a towbar but getting a front mounted towbal as well isn't too hard and they can pop on and off. worth a look but depends how indiviual you want it really.

Are you going for some nice alu undershields as well??

How much work to make an RAI a snorkle though as IIRC one of the joints is 'holed' and needs to be replaced as well as each joint properly sealed?? Not too hard to do DIY but it depends on how good you want it to look really Smile

The Blue D3 fell through at the last minute so I have bought a very nice Tonga/Alpacha "S" with triple sunroof, heated seats x4, reversing warning, climate control and best of all "auto" with terrain response.

Planning Big Tyres, Black roof Rack, Tree Sliders, Under Body protection, Sump Guard, Light Guards, Big Lamps, Ladder, Snorkel and more....

Well here she is in all her glory: (But about to changed beyond recognition Very Happy )

2005 Discovery 3 "S" Auto with: Air Suspension, Terrain Response, Electric Park Brake, Dual Climate Control, Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Controls, Reversing Sensors, Heated Front & Rear Seats, Ipod Connection, Onboard Computer, Bluetooth Telephone, Upgrade Sound System with 6-CD, Seven Seats and newly installed Garmin Sat Nav with Speed Cameras, Traffic Warning/ReRoute and Lifetime European Map updates. (yet to be wired in) - 59900 miles and in fab condition - interior like new. Forgot to say it "One Owner" as well....

The basic plan is to add everything I want in Black (including wheels/Rack/Guards/Ladder/Snorkel/Sliders/Sump Guard/Lamps/Ideas... leaving a Tonga Green/Black Contrast which should look good.

OK Decision Made I am going for the

275/65R18 COOPER DISCOVERER STT 113/110

The Discoverer STT is Cooper's premium high void or traction tyre designed for drivers who want the utmost in off-road traction.

Super Traction Tread:

Deep shoulder lugs and a unique centre traction zone create a bold, aggressive tyre for superb traction.

Long Mileage Tread Compound:

Precision blending of synthetic rubber and other compound ingredients contribute to a long mileage and durability.

Radial Construction:

The ride control and flexibility of radial construction make these Discoverer STT tyres an excellent choice for mud, sand and snow traction.

Apparently they work very well on road and are not that noisy. Much stronger construction that the Kuhmo KL71 and better for Cold/Snow etc.

Suspension being lifted 5mm by LR Indy. Wheels being Professionally finished in Black - Powdercoat Silk or Gloss?

18" WHEEL CHOICE

Okay having bought the 18" Cooper STT TYres I need to decide which 18" wheels to get Powder Coated tomorrow:

These in Black Silk or Black Gloss:

or; these in Black Silk or Black Gloss: (Offset will be less so spacers may be needed for looks)

Opinions much appreciated Very Happy
