You should be able to see through the spokes, here's mine with the red arrow showing the step-down on the disc.

The smaller disc has no step-down and runs parallel all the way out from the disc end to the hub face

thats the hub i have john, so its confirmed its 354mm...thankyou.

edit, my 'steps' are slightly different but certainly not straight. ... - .- -.
