Ok so this is starting to annoy me now and I'm being fobbed off with "it's standard sir!"

Everytime I turn the engine off there is a loud "rotary type" squeek 10 times from under the bonnet - I have been told this is the EGR valve "self cleaning" but it's embarrasing and very annoying!

Help! could others with a 2010MY 3.6 TDV8 please confirm that as usual the dealer is talk and whilst the EGR system may be working correctly this squeek is not normal. I certainly didn't get it on the 2010 Sport loaner recently or on a 2011MY 4.4 TDV8 Vogue that I drove so is this exclusive to the 3.6 TDV8 engine

Well I suppose thats one option and a great way to invalidate the rest of my warranty but a week on from asking I was hoping someone else with a 2010MY 3.6 TDV8 could have check theirs for me

I was driving a 4.4 TDV8 a few weeks ago and never heard any squeaks

Same irritating "sqeak" and until now, I did not know what it was (2007 TDV8)!
