Sadly haven't been a Range Rover owner for past few months - but still manage to spot very nearly every other Range Rover I may pass in my (currently never ending ) journeys up and down M40 M4 M5 M25 and Greater London...

Routine -

Spot FFRR from whatever direction #

See what reg it is #

Do I like the colour, spec, condition etc? - or - does it look f d about with? #

See if its got fullfatrr.co.uk sticker (if i can get close enough) #

Glance at driver #

... nearly every time, who-ever happens to be the driver? - are positioned as follows...

right arm extended and resting just to top right/centre of steering wheel - with upper torso gently leaning over towards the centre console and left elbow seated on arm rest and fore arm supporting chin...

with either a 'pointer' def ; - (forefinger of left hand pointing upwards along side of face, chin resting on tip of thumb and lips against knuckle of middle finger)

or a 'pincher' def ;-( chin being pinched with thumb and forefinger)

Pinchers are more common than Pointers ...

great observations... very true too

im a pincher but i hold the bottom of the wheel as i hate that fast and furious look

F*ck me as I was reading that I had my elbo on the desk as I was pinching my chin with finger out!!!!!

I now realise I am a pointer....

And I never knew I ever did that
