Lee, you have put a lot of work into getting that HSE up to spec, but sometimes you need to move on otherwise you could keep spending and still not be 100% satisfied.

Without knowing what you want to spend on something newer I would say get a supercharged and then add the screens in the back for the kids Thumbs Up

If you want to spend more on something even newer then a TDV8 is great but still a little pricey - part of me wishes I had gone for a supercharged model Evil or Very Mad

I heard that all supercharged and Vogue SE's had the RSE as standard, but I looked at a couple of Vogue SE's and they didn't have the RSE installed. Assume then Gaz that the Supercharged ones all do...

Landrover fitted RSE is much better IMHO than an aftermarket system as it is properly integrated with the rest of the entertainment systems and you can control it from the head unit (always a benefit when the kids are still too young to operate everything by themselves). You just need one with a digital TV tuner

I have to disagree - the best Range Rovers are those that have been well looked after and fully serviced but NOT TINKERED with..... Smile

As a dealer I walk away from anything that has been modified in any way. If you want to have a nice car that retains its value buy "original" and keep it that way Thumbs Up

i sort of agree with scarey im sure theres nothing wrong with upgrading using range rover parts...i tell you what i have noticed when looking is a lot of vogues and vogue se models have the horrid foundry trims so something like changing them would in my book be ok Thumbs Up "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

I should say that "Upgrading" with genuine LR parts including Wheels/Grilles/Vents and Genuine Interior trim upgrades are fine IMHO (Especially if they are factory options at point of sale).

sent at 3.39pm same as you're message above - spooky mind reading....

Some would say that all Range Rovers emerge from the factory ready for a life of necessary 'enhancements' Whistle Whistle

You should have bought that slightly damaged one that was on the bay not to long ago then Wink

TBH why not look for one that is a bit tatty, and get it cheaper??

I guess you've seen the TDV8 that was just over 20k on the bay i think it was advertised, which isn't too bad at all if you got the dough and was a hse i think Smile

I'd love one myself but the SC's are too thirsty, and the tdv8's are about 70% more than i can afford at the minute without a new job Very Happy maybe one day though hey, and at least i save a few bob on tax and insurance with the TD6. why not go last of the line TD6 Vogue SE if they are in budget? Scan through auctioneers like brightwells and so forth and see what trade ins you can find? no warranty mind but still if under the milage allowance a warranty can be bought and would be well worth it Smile
