i bought a reverse camera for my 2004 td6 from flea bay and was wondering if i need to get anything else for it to work? (its the one that fits in the light on the number plate.)

have you got a link for that as id like one for the number plate light area also did you check yet to see if it fits "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

theres two i got he second one its for a bmw x5 but they are the same. ihavn't had it done yet but it looks like it will fit. iwill let yo know when i get it done.

Thought they were for the Sport as the FF'S are at the top of the tailgate …..

can you let me know how you got on and if it all works as I am thinking of adding this to mine

hi, i would like to know if you get it to fit as it looks similar to the one i bought a while ago, it was from a different seller.
any way as i said check the fitment before you buy your other stuff.
you will need an AV loom like this one

you will also need a relay that when the reverse is selected the 12v live switches and allows an earth to connect to pin 17 on the tuner as well as power to the camera,this will switch your monitor over to AV and display the image, ntsc only V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I'm interested too, Have a MY05 TD6 HSE with touch screen radio. No TV, Phone or SAT-NAV. Will it work without TV.

when you say it has no tv but you have a touch screen fitted, was that a retro fit... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

on the back of the touch screen there are 3 inputs...you can connect a camera to one and get the it activated by accessing the CCF via a faultmate or similar..

edit...rear of screen..

gary, so in your boot do you not have the tv module. beside that the touch screen still has the av in port so yes you could put the rev cam on V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

NO TV module. No Sat - Nav DVD. No Phone module ?? but phone cradle in centre consule
Touch screen says " Phone not fitted " " Navigation not fitted ".

Is there anything else other than Camera, Leed & activation that I need to make it all work.

Stan do you have pic of front off unit to make sure I have same unit

I don't want to hijack the thread, in fact you can have it back in a minute, but it seems that there is a lot of rear camera expertise here that might be able to answer a simple question. I have a 2007MY FF and of course that has a reverse cam at the top of the tailgate - it works - BUT the quality isn't that great and I think that may be normal.

So the question is can the camera part itself be swapped to improve the video?
