| MMP Landrover- ARC pipes, transmission flush | |
2016 L405 SDV8. Just had the following done:
(In short, excellent service by MMP)
ARC pipes, front and rear. The pipes were identified on the MOT as corroded. While doing brakes I noticed one was actually leaking. I didn't fancy doing them on my drive, despite some excellent write ups on this forum. I just couldn't be bothered with the inevitable additional problems. MMP replaced the pipes along with the valve block seals to an excellent standard and very reasonable price.
Gearbox oil flush. The vehicle is on 76k miles and I could notice the gear changes becoming more clunky. MMP conducted a gearbox flush. The changes are better now than I ever remember- I've had the car since 20k miles. Well worth doing.
Whilst in MMP noticed hairline fractures in the front hub carriers. I'm hoping the extended warranty will replace both sides as my car is outside of the VIN range for recall. Any tips on warranty claim for this would be appreciated.
