hi, I new here so here goes.
RR L322 4.4TDV8 vogue 2011 160k
I had to replace the transfer box as there was a loss of rear drive etc.
the replacement off ebay, same year 90k so lower milage than mine at 160k
All items lost before now working. except centre diff locked on. when driving in mud lights on display show lock engaging and disengaging, however any tight turns show it is still locked and some nasty clonking as it gets wound up. after extensive reading and diagnostic checks it could be several issues.
including a faulty box in the first place. the H/L works fine and no warning on the dash. it did have Gearbox fault, which ment the box could not be calibrated, and that warning has now gone.

Has the transfer clutch been calibrated? This will be required for the control unit to learn clutch positions. D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims

When I got the garage to run the calibration it kept knocking him out as there was a gearbox fault. Now the fault message has gone after replacing the two front suspension looms with were faulty, will it alow the calibration to go ahead. They also suggested a wiring fault or control unit replacement needed.
