Today I clipped my phone to the vent on the dashboard, in doing so I locked/unlocked the car from the button on the dash quite a few times fitting the phone holder, anyways gets to my destination and low and behold central locking from the fob has stopped working, central locking still works from manually using the key in the door, alarm still sounds on locking and unlocking.

Any ideas chaps?

Could be wrong, but doesn’t it ignore the fob if the car is locked and unlocked so many times in quick succession? For a length of time? Thought I’d read it somewhere. Like if it’s being pressed accidentally in your pocket…. I know it’s the switch you pressed but could be similar….

i believe the antenna for the remote central locking is protected by a fuse in the rear fuse box, it also controls the glove box actuators, so try the button, if it works then its not the fuse, if it doesn't unlock the glove box, then it is probably the fuse, when mine did it i think i had to re-sync the remote to the BCM, only took a few seconds to sort,

Well it's decided to fix itself, all working as normal this morning, maybe it just needed a good nights kip 🤔

That will have been the repetitive blocking then.
