Looking to dive into FFRR for the first time, and the heart says V8 with SE or AB; budget wise I’m hovering around the £30k mark.

Facelift models still seem to be at least £3k-£5k more - is it worth it? UWB keyless security would make me feel a bit more comfortable, but what else?

I’ve had both - prefer the facelift looks and the headlights are a massive improvement. I prefer the larger seats and they also adjust higher in the facelift - but I prefer the look of the earlier seats.

The FL suspension also feels noticeably more taught.

I’d spend the extra and get the FL - plus it’s worth more when you sell it. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Definitely worth the extra money and ongoing value.

Word of warning though..... If you get a pre 2020 model ( I had one of the first FL 2018 models), make sure the Infotainment system is up to date and test it before you buy. There were some horrible glitches with it. It took my dealer two years to sort it out and in the end they replaced the whole unit for a 2020 version. Are there definitely different hardware versions?

I think there must be, as after they changed the unit it was all ok when I changed the car to my present one. All LR cars from 1984
