Key issues

Heyo, long time watcher, new user.
Have a 2009 l233 hse, 4.4v8, and tonight, the key stopped turning to the unlock position. I finally got it to turn, with a fair bit of fiddling, and it did not unlock the car. Lock position works fine.

Even went so far as to take a hammer to the rear passenger glas, only to find out it just bounced off. Cool feature when turning the key allows entry, even avoid a smash and grab, not so much when you need to get in another way.
No extra keys, and this being a 2009, the original fob is dead. Have not yet had time to make a new fob for it.

Any help appreciated, especially in getting back to my interior. I'm sure I can replace the lock or cable that is likely damaged, but entry is important.

Well, with the hood down, and the door locked, I'm not sure how to go about finding a good PowerPoint to connect the charger to. I do not yet have a trailer kit, although that was on the list. Anyone knows a good accessible Link to the battery from the outside of the car, would be much appreciated.

Might it be possible to unlock from the inside were somebody to bend back the door and give that a try. I'm certainly not worried about cracking the windows at that point, although knowing which window might be crackable would be advantageous, considering taking a claw hammer to the darn thing didn't do a darn thing.

Yeah, I'm gonna guess that whatever hall effect apparatus and cable that would have allowed unlocking are toast. Got it unlocked from the inside, hopped in and closed the doors to turn the ignition and shut off the shirpy little alarm.

Now to figure out how to repair the lock, any help appreciated.

i had the same problem with mine when i locked it for the first time.
my son and i tried and tried to unlock the door, but couldn't.
when i came home the next day, he had managed to open it.
i striped the door, removed the lock, couldn't see anything wrong, but i couldn't get it back in without removing the handle.
when i removed the handle, it had a broken part, like an aluminon washer.
replacement cost $2000 here in Australia
i made one out of steel, been good since, that was years ago.
i did post on here, with pictures somewhere
the handle is super easy to remove, but if i remember right, you do have to remove the door card i think RR 2005 4.4 petrol
