2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aruba

Ok, a final follow up. The next day the car wasn’t getting any heat whatsoever to the front face vents even though the engine was up to full temp. The errors I was getting were:

B129A-88 bus is off etc

On clearing, sometimes I started getting heat , but then the error would re-appear.

A bit of searching around and from threads on here suggested the fuse for the FBH. So I pulled it and sure enough it had burnt out.

So if anyone else stumbles across this thread looking for the error code, it’s the fuse and it is the yellow 20a fuse in the bottom left tucked behind the insulation in the boot.

Thinking back, I made the comment earlier to be careful about the supply wire to the heater being live and how I sparked it off the FBH bracket. I think when I did this it partly blew the fuse and on its next run / use it fully blew it.

So hopefully all good now. M V8 or else ...

Glad you got it sorted eventually, did you strip the old valve down or test it, as mine seemed perfect, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say!! L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

I’ve not stripped it down … but given that in general my car seems to be going through the general issues of others at similar ages, I imagine it’s the seals inside.

I’ll rip it apart later on and have a nosey. V8 or else ...
