EAS woes - latest

Heres the latest on my 2003 TD6 problems. Can anyone shed any light?

Car stuck in super-extended height following new SAS fitting and being sat for 2 months.
New compressor fitted.
New relay.
Sintered tip drilled out.
2 x new rear height sensors. (Found one to of broken off the rear arm so replaced both).
iiD tool, deflate all/test valves/deflate reservoir, none work. iiD goes through the process, and says ‘operation completed’ after 30 secs-1 min. But no sound from compressor at all.

Scan again. Only 3 faults.

IP - Instrument Pack
0x0011 Unknown
0xBD EBV function fault recieved from ABS ECU (I did read on here several times that this is a legacy fault from BMW and doesn’t effect 2002-2005 L322’s)

PAM - Parking Aid
0xC Front Sounder Off

Im getting no codes that I can see to really worry about.

Guided calibration doesn’t adjust it up or down. Guessing I need to be out of extended height first.

No live data from wheel speed sensors when driven around our estate at a low speed, approx 10mph.

Thanks all again for any help. Im determined to get to the bottom of this.

On my 203 TD6 I get a continual ABS error but no warning lights so it appears to be working o.k. as is the suspension. I don't have a GAP IID tool but use either BMW INPA or BMW scanner V1.4
With BMW Scanner I get 5A/FF & 8A/43. Are you sure the error code you are getting is the legacy BMW code?
I mention this because if you are not getting live wheel speed data (assuming this is via the ABS circuit) then there might be another fault being masked by your error and the ABS might be related to preventing the air suspension from working?
.
If when turning the ride height knob there is no change in the LED blinking at the new selected height setting then to me it indicates that the system is locked out of operation.

It might be worth checking at the reservoir valve electrical connections to see if its getting a voltage or ground signal to deflate the air bags.

I'm thinking that the ABS is stopping the air system from working. Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles

Interesting Steve k

Only saying i assume the '0xBD EBV function fault received from ABS ECU' fault is a legacy fault and not to be concerned about as on another RR forum ( landyzone, poster called Saint.V8 ), one of the resident experts says on 2002-2005 its an old fault code carried over from the BMW days.
Think I've also read it on here a few times too

If i turn the ride height knob, the new height flashes, but the height doesn't adjust. the LED just keeps flashing as though its adjusting.

It does feel as though something has locked/latched it out of operation.

Strange for all 4 ABS sensors to not be giving me a live value when driving slowly, but could this be locked out because of the EAS not responding?

I think I'm going to try a battery disconnect first then manually lowering the suspension by cracking off one of the valve blocks to see if it'll reset and inflate/deflate.

After that, I'm guessing look at ABS sensors, unsure if one not working will hold all 4 off from live values

Just an update for anyone who stumbles across this post when searching.

Ending up manually deflecting front and rear EAS from the valve blocks and everything then seemed to kick back into action when I started the car and cleared all faults.

Thanks all
