Best glue to reattach door card fixings

Hi all,

Tackled the rear passenger door lock actuator today. All fine and having the door unlock on the key is a joy.

However lots of the black clips which normally come off with the door card via those yellow pop clips … stayed in the door and came away from the door card…

What is the best glue to reattach them with?I was thinking some clear Stixxall or something similar. Any thoughts.

Seems I’ve fixed a big problem but created a small one. Such is L322 ownership!

Door card removal usually snaps a clip or 3. I've ordered a 100 to have on hand through eBay/Ali Express/Amazon... 2012 Supercharged L322

I find a hot glue gun works well when repairing plastic trim.

Hot glue gun!? Surely that bond is not strong enough.

It’s not the clips I’ve an issue with (I have lots on order just in case), it’s the black plastic “wings” that are glued to the door card … these have come off the door card

Ditto: I used a hot melt glue gun on mine.
The original glue was hot melt also. I originally used a hot air gun to re-melt the original glue but the manufacturing quality was appalling with insufficient glue used and not applied in the right places to the card to hold the black clips. I bought a cheap Titan brand gun from Screwfix and found it worked well. Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles
