Hi all,

First “fault” on my L460..randomly last night the auto close loadspace cover remained in the open position when I closed upper tailgate.

The carriage mechanism doesn’t want to move at all. I have tried a boot reset (I think) by opening the upper tailgate and holding the open button until I hear a confirmatory chirp…but still slider doesn’t want to move and remains in the open position.

Any ideas? TIA.

Edit: idiot….have read the I-guide. It dropped out of auto mode (don’t know why).

I know why, it's a piece of ! If there ever was an example of technology implemented for a non existent problem this is it! My son puts his bags in the boot and regularly knocks it making it unable to operate reducing rearward vision.
