Tracking L405

Afternoon All,

After some advice, i think i may need my tracking on my L405 as car is pulling slightly to the left may be as a result of a pothole probably!!

Who should i use please? I don't have lane assist, so in my simple mind this should be a fairly straight forward exercise... famous last words.

Your help and advice would be welcome please.

kind regards

Dan

easy, the hunter alignment system seems to be the best around.....finding a capable company is harder.

kwick fit have this system and my local branch in swindon did a good job , after i made clear that my 05 personnel reg wasnt related to a L322 but a L405.. ... - .- -.

Yep, deffo Hunter system. If you get a good place/bloke you can stand and watch them do it with all the numbers appearing on the screen and going from red to green. Spot on is a big ask but they can get very close (centre of the green) if the bloke is good and not too rushed. Its a bit if an art as changing one will slightly affect another so its not just a case of getting one corner right and then moving on. Would be handy to have a note of what the numbers should be so that you can be sure they're changing them to the correct car!

My nearest with the system is a National Tyres place. They're normally dealing with very ordinary fare so when I took a Lotus down they treated me like royalty...and did a great job. Mike - MPx

Couple round me who have a hunter or similar. I tend to use the Formula One auto centre in Burton. And they do a decent Job.

I’ve got to get my D5 done and I’ll be taking it to them in the next week or so as the steering wheel is off to the right a tad and it is annoying me….. only a degree or so but noticeable. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Morning Haylands,

That's an interesting theory. I hadn't thought of that.

I will get them to check when it's being repaired, just got to get it recovered now.
