Park brake fault.

I have a Park brake fault dash warning and a constant amber warning light.

Electric park brake seems to work fine. Diagnostic tool reveals the following:
C1A48-01 - Warning lamp circuit, signal lamp connection failure - General failure information - general electrical failure (2B)

This won't clear.

I've disconnected the epb module and sprayed contact cleaner on the connector, to no avail.

I've done some searching on this topic but found nothing related to the L322 (Tdv8 3.6 2007).

Anyone come across something similar and find a solution?

Warning lamp failure makes me think its not the actual operation of the park brake but rather the electric circuit that activates the handbrake indicator on the dash. Is the light coming on and going off as it should? I suspect an issue at the park brake itself related to the wiring such as a corroded connector.

I will try to remove and inspect the loom from the brake module to the left side boot space. The connector did not appear to have any signs of corrosion but it is possible there could have been hidden within the connector.
Failing this, what could my other options be?

And yes, the red light goes off when the engine is started/park brake released
