Apparently the amount of oil in the intercooler wasn't normal, so that's why they thought the turbos have gone. It wasn't using any oil (since the oil cooler was changed...) and I don't have any smoke out of the exhausts and it was driving perfectly until the French incident Question

I would drive it without touching the turbo to see if it's OK. MY21.5 D350 Vogue SE Carpathian Grey

I thought the same, and I’d asked them to put it all back together. They’ve told me I shouldn’t drive it.

Having thought about it this evening I’m now worried it’s pouring oil out while the engine is running because the turbo seals have gone.

With that in mind I’ve contacted the supplying dealer and asked them to collect it from the specialist, as it was less than 6 months from me buying it so the Consumer Rights Act still applies.

This photo was from when it arrived off the recovery truck so the engine had only been running a short time. This seems like rather a lot of oil for an intercooler pipe, 4 weeks after the pipe came off!
