Blind spot monitoring fault

I wonder if someone might be able to help me fault find on my blind spot monitoring system.

I fitted a new towbar a couple of weeks ago and I've since noticed my blind spot system doesn't work now. I've had a look at the wiring and can't see any damage and it all went back together ok so I assumed I hadn't damaged anything.

I have the two orange dots in the wing mirrors and get a 'reverse traffic detection not available' when selecting reverse. If I unplug the wiring I get a blind spot monitoring not available fault, so I was thinking it's a faulty component rather than break in the wiring? The general fault code is on the picture attached.

On the IID gap tool, when I select live valves I just get a system faulty message. Bit stuck where to go from now to pin point it, or just bite the bullet and buy a new loom and sensors?

Any advice greatly appreciated

If the car has been told by modifying the ccf that it now has a towbar fitted the BSM system won't work if you have something connected to the towbar electrics (trailer etc.) and you'll get the dots in the mirrors to alert you to this. You'll also have no rear parking sensors when tow bar electrics are connected, if nothing is connected then the BSM and rear PDC should work as normal. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Yeah trouble is the fault is in regardless of something being plugged in or not.
