Classic Tyre Sizes

Hi all,
I have a RR classic with 16" rims, does anyone know what the original tyre size was for these? Or conversely, what sizes work well for a summer tyre?

205/80/16 were always standard fitment on the Classics. You can as an alternative fit 235/70/16 which are slightly wider but near enough the same diameter. I did this and they look far better, and they fit with no rubbing. They are slightly tight in the spare wheel area, and the covered carpet - but they do fit in. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
