Well outta luck, it did it this morning after parking, can't get it to stop now, have fully seated both battery terminals, they were both suspect.

Seems like it's trying to tell you, injector 4 is faulty, they do tend to fail intermittently first so it's giving you warning...

It got injector #4 replace this week, after old mate finished it, he let it warm up, took if for a spin around the block, now injector #2 is playing the same game. It's booked in to have the other 3 on that bank replaced as I'm getting intermittent misfire on #8 too. Expensive suckers down here and had to wait for them to come from Perth. If one plays up on the other side at any time, I'll replace the whole bank too. The bloke said the fuel rail was clean but there was a lot of carbon and crud on the ends of the injectors that he cleaned off. He trouble shooted the failed one out of the car and it was totally dead. |
